Let’s tackle the projects you're stuck on, build your skills, and make your creative ideas happen. Whether you're struggling with soldering, looking for bezel alternatives, refining your sawing and polishing techniques, or curious about sand casting, we’ll work through it together.

We can explore new techniques, experiment with ideas, and adapt tools and setups to meet your specific needs. I especially welcome conversations around disability informed studio adaptations, accessible tools, and safe, inclusive workspaces.

Maybe you’ve got a torch still in the box and don’t know where to start? I’ll walk you through setting it up safely and confidently. Need online help for soldering, online shopping for materials or choosing the angle for ventilation? We can go together in person or hop on a Zoom or WhatsApp call to sort it out.

What’s included:
The starting rate of $265/day assumes you have your own supplies, tools, metal, and safety gear.

Not fully set up yet?
No problem, for in-person visits, some tools and materials (excluding large equipment like rolling mills) can be brought. In some cases, tools can be purchased ahead of time or entire tool kits can be supplied.

Fo example: helping you set up a torch regulator for the first time vs setting up a filtration and fume extraction system are different skill sets and require planning, materials and additional tools. Please be clear about your interests or questions so I can let you know which bundle to purchase.

Travel & Availability

No travel fee for lessons in the following areas:
Vancouver, North Vancouver, West Vancouver, North Burnaby.

$60 travel fee for:
Surrey, Richmond, Coquitlam, Maple Ridge, White Rock, etc & other nearby Lower Mainland locations.

$120 travel fee for:
Whistler, Squamish, Pemberton, Bowen Island, Salt Spring, Sunshine Coast

Longer distance bookings Vancouver Island, Haida Gwaii, Gulf Islands, and beyond can be arranged for multi-day visits. These require travel and accommodation costs and should be booked at least 3 months in advance. Please get in touch to start a plan.

Group & Community Classes

If you're looking for small group classes at your community space or want to collaborate as a fellow metalworker,  I love co-teaching and building community through art. Email me!

• All participants must follow health and safety protocols.

• A release of liability must be signed before each session.

• Payment is required in full prior to reserving your dates. 

Local lessons:
Non-refundable within 14 days of the scheduled class. Life happens—rescheduling is normally okay! Just give as much notice as you can. Please email. 

Online lessons:

Community & travel-based classes:
Require a 50% non-refundable deposit. Rescheduling requires 2 weeks’ written notice; cancellation requires 4 weeks written notice.
